In my spare time I love to play guitar, acoustic and electric.
There were a certain set of specs that I wanted in a guitar that no one made, so being a hands on engineer I felt the need to design my own guitar and build it from scratch. I designed the whole thing in SolidWorks. I then designed all the custom jigs I would need to do the routing for the body, electronics cavities, neck pocket, etc.. I laser cut these jigs and proceeded to build all of the guitar by hand. This is the Custom guitar you see below.
I recently attended a guitar building class and built the one you see below named “Betty.” I loved it and learned so much I decided to take a banjo building class as well, shown below named “Lilith.”

Guitar I custom designed in CAD to fit my desired specs and hand built myself. I tried to use as many hand tools as possible. It is currently awaiting me to do the finishing and then I will assemble it and start to rock!
